Vision

The Activism Festival 2010 is a, starting point of a long-term process to establish a strong community for social-environmental change in Israel - one which presents a clear cultural alternative.

This will be a community where the activity is supported by a social network of people and organizations working in Israel and abroad.

A community that provides space for personal empowerment, learning, cooperation and action for social justice, environmental justice and a sustainable society.

This process, which the Festival of Activism 2010 will initiate , is intended to promote a sustainable society in Israel by encouraging the taking of personal responsibility towards the community and the environment in which we live. a society which implements economic models that take into account the needs of individuals , communities, cultures and ecosystems. The project is committed to operating in a manner that takes care of the land and people, rebuilding human and natural capital , distributing and using existing resources fairly and encouraging the acceptance of personal responsibility for ourselves, our society and environment. This stems from the belief that in the future taking shape, our society will be conducted in accordance with these values as guidelines.
