Welcome! From the moment you enter you are part of the conference, and we will do everything to help you feel at home, beginning with a smile and on to explanations necessary to help you integrate into the life of the festival.

At the entrance to the festival we invite you to stop, To think and look at activist performance art from the creator of Gar'in Ane"at. in a tunnel connecting daily life to the Festival of colors and experiences, The Gar'in invites you to get a historical-cultural view of the chain of contents, aspects and modes of action of the common desire for change that connects people , opinions and ideas, and between past and present.

Children's Compound
We believe you should always start at the beginning. And of course that the way our moral values as human beings start - in childhood. children, who learn and develop their own way, who take their first steps in their immediate surroundings, who discover a whole new world, with wonder and curiosity , create their first close relationship with the components of their environment (the living and the still) and with human nature.

Today, children spend far less time outdoors than ever before, So this Festival puts special emphasis on the Children's Compound, and the contents conveyed in it.

The Compound has a set of activities for kids of all ages. All are invited to experience working creatively with natural materials, taking walking trips, star gazing, building a mud-brick taboun (oven) and baking treats, and other experiences of games and learning about values , as well as, enjoying performances of talented and original artists. Everyone is welcome with joy and fun!

Permaculture Compound
Permaculture is a world view, a way of life, a method of planning, practical tools and many other things that anyone can choose which of them to adopt and how . In a quiet corner of the festival, around a warm and pleasant campfire, leading permaculture experts will pass on their acquired experience and knowledge to the Festival participants. Apart from workshops, which will take place round the clock in the compound, there will also be a recycling area, a center for creativity with land, study of ancient crafts and more. Everything will be in a pleasant atmosphere with quality tea and coffee.

Permaculture (Permaculture Permanent (Agri)culture) – Culture / A permanent, sustainable agriculture . The method was developed in Tasmania- Australia, and has been implemented around the world for the last three decades. The method is to combine the preservation of local cultural and ecological knowledge, preservation of current scientific findings and ideas, and a positive philosophy of life to create a healthy human culture, that rehabilitates the environment.

This multi-disciplinary method , has become a global movement, and is successfully implemented in many countries and in a wide variety of projects. Examples can be found in vegetable gardens and orchards for individual and community consumption, planning and upgrading of infrastructure and community, both rural and urban , restoration of natural areas and open areas and personal change towards a more aware, modest and healthy, lifestyle.

Applications of permaculture can be found in a wide variety of areas: ecosystem planning based on understanding the language of human and natural patterns , climatic and natural building, Gray Water Systems, Compost Systems, collecting and using rainwater, ecological gardening and horticulture, renewable energy, local economy and creation of a sustainable culture.

These issues are more relevant today than ever as our country undergoes environmental , social and political crises.

Direct Initiatives and Action Compound
This area will be dedicated to the tools of the Revolution . Whatever we were taught at school: from theoretical tools for critical analysis of reality, to our rights vis-a-vis the police, to practical techniques that allow us to make a change, individually and together. Come here to create buttons, to learn from the experience of past struggles, To think together how to undermine the foundations of the system, and of course for a cup of tea and vegan cookies .


Just Pace and Human Rights Compound
Human rights is a concept that one must feel , not only to "talk the talk" but also to experience . When one organization is fighting for women's rights and another organization is promoting workers' rights, they share the same wider struggle to preserve and promote human rights . Human trafficking, workers rights, torture, the right to education and so on, are all different aspects of the same struggle. In the compound there will be 2 classes of workshops , an "Upgraded Hyde Park" area, a cafe, a library and more.

אוהל הדיאלוג
שינוי חברתי וסביבתי בארץ הוא מטרה נעלה, אותה ניתן להשיג בראש ובראשונה באמצעות דיאלוג אמתי. הרעיון של אוהל הדיאלוג היה להקים מקום שבו יתקיים שיח אחר מזה שאנו מכירים: מקום להשמיע כל דעה, ובעיקר להקשיב לאחרים ולעצמנו.
בכניסה לאוהל יוצב לוח ועליו הסבר על הדרך, פרי עטו של דני לסרי, הוגה ומחנך מהאקדמיה הדיאלוגית. אנחנו מקווים שהמשתתפים יקבלו על עצמם את רוח הדברים תוך התבוננות פנימה והחוצה, והדיאלוג ביניהם יהיה פורה ומפרה!!
באוהל הדיאלוג יתקיימו מעגלים בנושאים שונים, וכן מעגלים ללא נושא וללא מטרה. חלק מהפעילות באוהל נקבע מראש ומופיע בתכניה, ובשאר הזמן יתקיימו מעצמם מעגלים כל שעתיים.

Education Compound
The Education Compound will deal with processes of change in education , innovation, Educational Entrepreneurship, and alternatives.

During the festival, workshops will be held in the compound, as well as a variety of activities and discussions relating to many burning issues in daily life. This is an opportunity to meet people who think, do and live education. Come to hear, to be heard, and to act together!

The activity in this Compound is corodinated by the 'Greenhouse for Educational Initiatives' – an undergraduate program for a B.Ed.at the Seminar HaKibbutzim College in cooperation with the Institute for Democratic Education.

Cinema Compound
Technology and the media in recent years have become significant tools for conveying messages and disseminating information. Many films are being made around the world in the fields of environment and society, and have been successful in raising awareness and promoting activism. In this compound, quality films will be screened throughout the day.

Organizations Fair
We do not always know how much positive activity is taking place around us, At the heart of the Festival there will be a fair of dozens of social and environmental organizations which will present their various activities and will invite you to take part in their important work. This is the place to join in, to find a place to act, and perhaps even to be inspired to initiate your own work. At the Fair there will also be a number of stalls of "Business for the Community", which promote positive values but not necessarily using the routine tools of civil society.
